Have you considered that your spammer had Chinese speakers as their “spamming market” and that your email address was just one of the many (possibly millions) that they did not bother to check. And why should spammers bother to check any of their “carefully selected” victim email addresses? It usually doesn’t cost them any more to send, but checking millions of addresses is a lot of hard work.
And spamming is all about making EA$$$Y money!
